Very intriguing

I bit hard to understand the whole animation and everything within it, but the art style and use of sound effects were very inspiring. Great job, I really enjoyed this, especially visually.

um....

sorry, but even though Ego did the voicing, I did not like this. You did every single line and shot from original but slightly changed the line to fit with a fish-theme. It didn't even take that much thought. The first was fresh and original and very funny, which made up for the half done animation, but yours was none of those things and had even less animation than the original. Just can't 5 this like all the other Ego fanboys.

Come on, people, you know better than this...

Wowsa

I'm not enitrely sure of what I just saw, but it was incredibly well made, so great job! I loved the animation, the concept was definitely original and a little hard to follow. But it was that interesting brand of humor, so it was very entertaining. Great job!

I seriously enjoyed this

This was amazing. It looked like the same art style as Samurai Jack!

I'm very curious as to how you achieve such an art style. Do you use the shapes tool and combine tweens with fbf? It's so awesome looking. Amazing job on this. The concept was great, the entire flash was great, the music was very fitting, and it really gave off a great mood. Nice job!

Awesome

I really enjoyed this. I wish I had recorded more reaction sounds for you because when Evan crashed the tub and slid across the ground without a reaction, it was a little offputting. Don't be afraid to stress those types of things to your actors (us). It really strengthens the scene. Also the music at the end was a little loud so I couldn't reallyl hear Sqwuib's explanation that well.

Overall, great job, I really loved it. The appearance of Scarf and the Man in White were great and very mysterious. I love your backgrounds. Great job, man, I can't wait for the next one!

Aeonstars responds:

Thanks Corey. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I guess I would've included a "sigh" or something but I always intended Evan to slide across and just be pissed off and neutral. As for the volume, I wasn't too sure whether it was too loud. I guess it is a bit ><.

nice one!

Excellent ending, my friend. The animation was not amazing, but it was good as far as character expression goes. Cloud's movements were great and fit his current character very well, you didn't just recycle the same thing over and over, we saw some changes. you could have just had them standing perfectly still, but you didn't.

It gets a little stale with the setting, but the way you set it up as a quick sketch, it worked. Again, the ending was great. I liked the stutter and almost ramble that they had. It reminded me a lot of Home Movies. Do you watch that show? If not, DO. I think you'd definitely like it. Nice job

ShadowMaginis responds:

i love home movies! thanx for the comment, glad you liked it!

Very impressive!

Wonderfully stylistic. If you like these types of projects, you should look into studying After Effects if you haven't. At first, I thought you had made this in AE. You can do some pretty insane things in AE, and it works great as a post producer for flash movies. Great job and good luck with your future submissions and projects. You would be really useful as a web designer or to make commercials and promos :)

Xennethy responds:

ha yes, actually I'm intending to learn AfterEffects too, but so far it looks pretty complicated and confusing to me.

Thank you

For introducing me to Mike Birbiglia. He is amazingly talented. I watched his entire special right after viewing this flash. Animation wise, it was well done, characters and artwork were nicely draw and fairly well animated. Backgrounds were very nice too. Most of the props go to Birbiglia, but you did a swell job on the animation as well. Great job!

Wow impressive

That was great - like old school awesome. So is there any quicker way to do it then taking a picture or a shot of it, moving the scene a little, then taking a new shot? Is that really how Robot Chicken is still doing it? Because they have so much movement, and it looks just sooo time consuming.

Great job, I really enjoyed it.

RWappin responds:

Yep. I actually know a guy who worked on Robot Chicken.

But that's how pretty much all animation is done.... frame by frame, so it's all pretty time consuming. :P

Yeah Marcy!

As always, Marcy, this was fantastic. I think this was my favorite. Your animation and stills just get better and better. Johnny's face when he was first shown was hilarious. Also all of the punks riding by had awesome expressions. Your stuff just keeps getting more awesome!

Props to Tommy for picking up my slack :p If you and Tommy were up for it, I'd love to collab together on a project. I love helping out with voices and writing. Great job, man!!

MarcyVF responds:

Haha, thanks Corey :) you did what you could!
